OCEAN to conclude 40th anniversary in Brussels

 The OCEAN Board and the OCEAN Working Group Customs & Taxation will meet in Brussels to conclude OCEAN's 40th anniversary celebrations.

OCEAN concludes 40th birthday in Brussels with meetings
The OCEAN Board will meet on 17th November in Brussels. The day before, the Working Group (WG) on Customs and Taxation will meet. Board & WG will discuss a veriety of current topic affecting the European ship supply industry, such as the Union Customs Code, the recast of the EU Dual Use Regulation, WCO HS Changes 2017 and the impact of Brexit on European ship supply.

The Board will also discuss the priorities for the year ahead, when Malta and Estonia take over the EU Presidency of the Cuncil.

“The European Union faces significant challenges which affects the shipsupply industry. Our meeting in Brussels will allow us to discuss the role that the European shipsupply industry will play in addressing these challenges” Chairman Mr. Cupido said in preparation for this meeting.
